Firefox Nightly shipped a new attribute to finally control heading levels inside the DOM tree. It's still behind a flag, but hey, after all the failed document outline attempts, this might solve a 15-year-old problem. 🎉

Box shadow is no alternative to outline(matuzo.at)

Good reminder to not mess with the outline. box-shadow might look similar, but it's no replacement for a proper focus outline.
